The apartment has four private balconies and a large roof top terrace with barbecue. It is fully furnished and the kitchen has five appliances and a microwave. There are two bedrooms, two bathrooms (main and ensuite) and a spacious living/dining room with fireplace and Sky digital TV.

Pedra Grande is ideally suited for families and couples. There are some wonderful walking trails nearby along the rugged coast line and there are two water slide parks and the marine zoo only a 20 minute drive away.

Pedra Grande is on the local bus route, but the charming town of Carvoeiro is only a 20 minute walk away. The complex is surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens and has a large swimming pool with sundeck.

Dear Lesley
Kate and I have just returned from our wonderful holiday and we wanted to thank you for allowing us to use your beautiful apartment. It was indeed just like home, with all the mod cons needed for a clean and comfortable stay, and so tastefully fitted. The standard of cleanliness does the housekeeper great justice.
We were particularly impressed with your artwork. Notably the wonderful picture of you and Bill at the beach café, it seemed as if we had known you for years. What a lovely place Carvoeiro is, the sobering walk into town and back every evening was indeed worth it as we had lovely food and entertainment, and beautiful beaches in every direction (although we didn't actually stay on them for long).
A Pedra Grande is a lovely peaceful little complex and we spent many a hot afternoon on the roof terrace and have a tan to prove it! It was very hard to say goodbye to it all and come home but we are both keen to return in the future, if it is still available. So on that note we would like to thank you for the lovely welcoming gesture of a complimentary bottle of wine, with which we toasted you and Bill for making our holiday really memorable.
